About Christina

Having previously suffered from OCD, I chose this area to specialise in after completing an Honours Degree in Psychology. Knowing how torturous it can be I wanted to help others who suffered from this disorder. I undertook a Diploma in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour and a Postgraduate Level 7 Practitioners Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy/Psychotherapy, full *affiliation with the National Council of Psychotherapists and a member of NIIHR. For the past 25 years I have studied and researched OCD, working with people who suffer from mild to severe cases of OCD using Exposure Response Prevention Therapy. Approximately 10 years ago, I set up a support group for people with OCD, it is still running today.

The most important message that I wish people suffering from OCD to receive is that, it can be treated,
